The aim of Wari is to win more of the pieces than your opponent. Choose any of the pots on your side and sow the marbles round the board one per pot. If the last pot has 2 or 3 marbles in it you win them. It sounds simple but the strategies are complex. There are many variations of this type of game originating in Africa, Asia and the Carribean.
