French Solitaire is similar to the classic (English) solitaire puzzle, but has four extra marbles. The extra marbles are often supplied in a different colour so that they can be ignored when playing the classic game. The aim of the game is to remove as many of the marbles from the board as possible. Marbles are removed by jumping over a single marble into an empty hole in a straight line. The marble that was jumped over is removed.
